Double your social media content without doubling the work

In today's ever changing world of social media it's important to notice and take advantage of the trends. Two things I'm noticing right now are video and podcasting.

It can be overwhelming to try to keep up with all the social media. No one can do it all, that's why it's important to take a strategic approach.

If you are considering jumping into the latest trend and creating your own podcast, consider working video into the equation.

You may be asking, how? One is audio and the other is video and you just said no one can do it all. Exactly. But when was the last time you watched TV without the sound? Audio is a component of good video so why not maximize your time in front of the microphone and start a Facebook Live while you are recording?

Benefits of this approach:

  • Increases your audience by targeting 2 different platforms

  • Allows your Facebook Live audience to contribute to the conversation which increases the content on the podcast

Bam! Just like that you've maximized your time! Take it one step further, by tagging the location of your podcast and your guest and you've just added to your Facebook audience.

If you're already focused on Facebook Live content, consider reversing the model and starting a podcast. It will increase your audience and exposure.

Facebook has so many tools to help get your content in front of more eyes that don't cost anything.
